Starting in 2016 April 26th became a day for fans, 20th Century Fox, and other company's to celebrate all things relating to the Alien franchise. This has included contests, giveaways, sneak previews, and releases of new apparel and merchandise. This year will see the following released with even more currently unknown items being released as well.

The Cloverfield Paradox, like it's troubled production history, is weird and interesting in a primarily good way. Starting out as an idea back in 2012 and, originally having nothing to do with the Cloverfield series at all, it finally began filming in 2016 with Cloverfield elements being added in the middle of shooting. This will bring up plot holes and other issues into the film and how it fits into the Cloverfield series in an important way, as this film serves as a prequel
Another Alien film. I recall going to see Alien 3 in the theaters in late May of 1992. I just turned 13 and had gone with my father as we were both huge fans of the first two films; we also shared incredible disappointment once we left the theater, as we found the result quite unappealing, violent and nasty, with little to recommend aside from Sigourney Weaver. Despite mostly solid reviews, I decided to pass on Life in theaters, and seeing it at home proved to be a mostly satisfying experience that no doubt would have been even better on the big screen. This is yet another one of those outer-space thrillers which has Alien written all over it, although I wouldn't be surprised if a good portion of its viewers considered it superior to the concurrent Alien: Covenant which seemed to upset even more fans of the series than Prometheus e
