Creepshow Documentary Coming to Blu-ray

1982's Creepshow is revered (deservingly so) as a horror classic, but US fans of the seminal horror anthology that brought together the talents of Stephen King, George Romero and Tom Savini have been stuck with lackluster, bare-bones DVD and Blu-ray releases, while the UK Blu-ray release sported the feature length making-of documentary Just Desserts: The Making of Creepshow from Red Shirt Pictures.
While appearing on last week's episode of The Sausage Factory, Red Shirt Pictures head honcho Michael "Slipcase" Felsher revealed that the documentary will soon be heading to Blu-ray in the US. Felsher later revealed, by email, that Synapse Films would be doing the distributing.
Felsher went on to say in the email...
“There is going to be a formal announcement from the distributor of JUST DESSERTS coming very soon. However to try to make up for not being as pro-active with these updates as I should have been, I will give everyone here a sneak peak at the cover art, designed by Artist Joel Robinson. Also I can reveal that the distributor will be none other than Synapse Films. Please don’t deluge them with a lot of questions at this point though. They will be releasing a press release soon enough with additional information that should answer a lot of questions.”
